Rachel Blair is an American singer-songwriter, musician, composer, producer, model, and philanthropist from Houston, Texas. She began singing at an early age and writing songs shortly after. Her songs are inspired by life experiences.
She started performing in choir in elementary school and later, singing at church. Early on, Rachel developed a passion for soulful music. She gravitated toward the songs of Lauryn Hill, Toni Braxton, Mary J. Blige, Baby Face, Brian McKnight, Mariah Carey, Israel Houghton, and Kirk Franklin. With the help of her grandfather, she was exposed to artists such as Elvis Presley, Percy Sledge, Frank Sinatra, Etta James, and many more. This helped Rachel come to appreciate a wide variety of genres. In 2018, she released her EP called “Let Go”. Outside of music, Rachel Blair is currently an elementary school teacher in Houston, Texas. She teaches her students to work hard and to keep going after their dreams.
