Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Annika is your all-American SoCal girl who loves her Dutch/Indonesian and European Spanish roots.
Annika has been creating, writing and singing music for as long as she can remember. Now living in Southern California Annika loves creating and recording music that inspires others.
"I can't remember a time in my life when I wasn't singing or performing. Even as far back as 3 when my aunt would create a stage spotlight over me with a flashlight in her kitchen for me to twirl and sing to everyone at family gatherings! If I could now remember what I was thinking back then, this would be when I realized that I love to entertain people." Says Annika.
After graduating from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts I continued singing and recording at the Studio at The Palms here in Las Vegas and trained with renowned vocal coach Jeffery Skouson.
Annika comes from a musical family. Her uncle was the guitarist and vocals in the 70's band Redbone, and co-wrote the hit "Come and Get Your Love". And her Aunt Michaeline Bellamy was the principal singer in the show "Folies Bergere" at the Tropicana Hotel and toured as a backing vocalist for such greats as Engelbert Humperdinck.
Annika is organically the #1 singer/songwriter on ReverbNation where her music has been chosen for Curation. Her tone, style, natural beauty, and wonderful personality has even caught the attention of the #1 hair care products & philanthropic powerhouse Paul Mitchell, aligning themselves with Annika, making her their first young artist to be sponsored.
Annika is now working on a followup EP. Multiple Labels & Grammy producers have already expressed interest in co-writing, producing and recording Annika. She looks forward to working with talented producers and collaborating with other artists.
Her upcoming release, "Summer O'Clock", to be distributed by Sony/Orchard in partnership with White Lion Audio is set to make a major splash in 2020! "I really look forward to performing "Summer O'Clock" on the beach and at festivals!" says Annika with a winning smile.
